When you contact us

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, and a description of what you need. Company, project focus, and timing are optional. Octo uses the information you provide to respond and discuss a possible engagement.

How the form works

When live delivery is available, the form sends your inquiry to Octo by email through Resend, our email delivery provider. The website application does not keep a separate disk copy of live inquiries. Your message remains in the email systems used to deliver and receive it.

A preview version of the form is explicitly labeled. In local preview mode, inquiries are saved on the preview machine and no email is sent. If delivery is unavailable, the form says so and provides our direct email address. Saving a copy of your brief downloads a file to your device; it does not send the brief to Octo.

While you explore

The Labs use fictional data and calculations in your browser. Experiment inputs are not submitted to Octo. The site does not include advertising or analytics trackers. Hosting services may process ordinary connection details, such as IP addresses, to serve and protect the website. The inquiry service uses temporary request counts to limit abuse.
